BEHIND THE LENS



My name is Kimberly Myers-Pinkel.



I am an artist, a wife, a mother of four, a lover of God, travel, yoga and photography and I am terrible at telling stories and jokes.

I find that all changes for me with a camera. Capturing the person as they are, right in that moment, is a way for me to tell their story, even if it is just a small part.



I became enamored with the creative process  in the darkrooms of college and never gave up on it.  My photography, like myself, is a constant work in progress. It is all part of my story that I am continuously telling  and I thank you for stopping by to read a little bit of it.



Pinkel Photography is a lifestyle portraiture service located in Lake Orion, MI. I am willing to travel in any direction up to 60 miles as part of your package.  Anything additional would be open for discussion.

I utilize natural light, indoors or outdoors, whenever possible.  Traditional photography studios are not a part of my repertoire.  Capturing the spirit of my subjects is my true goal.  If I cannot capture that, then the story just isn't as interesting.
